Greg Wayne President
In 2007 Greg started Explosion Sports Academy. In ESA brief history Greg has trained over 65 athletes with over 43 receiving scholarships to continue their playing careers at various colleges and universities. Greg brings a wealth of knowledge to both parents and students athletes about his experiences with recruiting, academics and the physical challenges that come along with being an athlete.
Greg is a consultant for Dynamite Sports which is the largest College Recruiting services in the country. Dynamite Sports services over 8,000 high schools across the country, educating 100,000's parents and potential student athletes what it is and how to become become a potential student athlete.He received his CSCS in the spring of 2013.
Gregory Wayne Jr. grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Greg enjoyed a successful high school career in football, and track and field. Greg's success on the "gridiron" at Mehlville Senior High School earned him a football scholarship to play at Northwest Missouri State University.
His college career was one that was filled with opportunities and success. His freshmen year at Northwest, Greg earned the Kermy Schneider award, which is given annually to the most outstanding freshman on the football team. Throughout Greg's career the Bearcats accumulated an overall record of 73-5 with 2 NCAA Division II National Championships. In 2001 Greg went on to earn a B.S. in Geography and Business. After graduation Greg was a graduate assistant at Northwest for one year before coming back home after being diagnosed with cancer. In the spring of 2005 Greg received his M.B.A. with an emphasis in M.I.S. from Lindenwood University.
